From Russia With Love - REVIEW

Film of the Day #28

From Russia With Love is a James Bond movie with the sensibilities of a classic Cold War thriller. Directed in 1963 by Terence Young, 007’s second outing is my personal favourite in the James Bond series. Full of iconic characters, set pieces and one-liners with a tight, witty script From Russia With Love flourished in the paranoia of the times and stylishly cemented the 007 formula. It's no surprise then that Connery cites this as his favourite Bond movie.
