Caddyshack - REVIEW

Film of the Day #63/ 300

Directed by Ghostbuster Harold Ramis, Caddyshack is one of those rare comedies where everything clicks. It’s a true comedy classic that has attained cult comedy status over the last thirty years. Bill Murray's turn as a goofball groundskeeper obsessed with blowing a pesky gopher to kingdom come is an inspired comic creation and just one of the memorable performances throughout a movie that includes Chevy Chase and Rodney Dangerfield at the height of their careers. The plot regularly goes off course and into the rough however, Caddyshack is still every bit as funny, and every bit as stupid, as it was thirty years ago. “Hey everybody, we’re all gonna get laid!”
