See No Evil, Hear No Evil - REVIEW

Film of the Day #76/ 300

See No Evil, Hear No Evil is a brilliantly original and hilarious comedy starring classic comic duo Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. See No Evil, Hear No Evil works on the assumption that one physical disability complements another. The premise of the film is wonderful; Murder! The blind guy didn’t see it, but smelt and heard it. The deaf guy didn’t hear it but he saw the perpetrator walking away. Together, Wally and Dave are made for each other and must solve the crime or do the time. This is yet another timeless and underrated comedy masterpiece from the eighties. Full of laughs and legs, I highly recommended you see and hear this unique comedy and watch Wilder and Pryor end their careers in style.
