X-Men: First Class - REVIEW

The epic beginning of the X-Men saga revives the flagging franchise in swinging style under the guiding hand of director Matthew Vaughn. X-Men: First Class is a dark and emotionally complex movie that infuses new life and a new cast into the established Marvel series. First Class maintains the integrity of the originals while reinvigorating the series with an intelligent, blazing pre-boot of a summer blockbuster. The dazzling visual effects are a potent reminder of why we fell in love with Bryan Singer’s innovative creations, while the additions of Fassbender and McAvoy are inspired choices to lead the franchise onwards and upwards. In every sense this is genuinely First Class.
