A Scanner Darkly - REVIEW

Film of the Day #165/ 300

Possible one of the most unique movies ever made, A Scanner Darkly is a disturbing, thought-provoking and unsettling movie based from Philip K. Dicks’ acclaimed novel. Directed by Richard Linklater, this dark trip into dystopian paranoia is greatly enhanced by the mesmerizing visual design that is a graphic designers dream. A Scanner Darkly is a visually riveting mind-bender inspired by drug-induced experiences. The film may not appeal to a wide audience; however, it will undoubtedly become an eventual cult classic.
