Batman Begins - REVIEW

Film of the Day #178/ 300

Dark, brooding but also exciting and smart, Batman Begins is an impressive cinematic blockbuster with more intelligence than most. The origins of the Caped Crusader of Gotham City perfectly set up and prepare its audience for Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece The Dark Knight. With an edgy tone and dark atmosphere, Nolan and Bale created a realistic and believable hero who fights personal demons like the rest of us. Burton's fantasy was fun but Nolan's is better.
