Braveheart - REVIEW

Film of the Day #195/ 300

Mel Gibson’s grand cinematic adventure, Braveheart, is factually and historically inaccurate; nonetheless, this is a passionate and emotional bloody Scottish spectacle that succeeds in entertainment. Braveheart may be one of the weakest films to ever win the Best Picture Oscar; however, Braveheart is a rousing show of sentiment and honour that delivers one of cinemas most inspirational moments. Let’s hope that the Scottish rugby team recall William Wallaces’s cries for freedom when taking to the field this world cup, and summon and evoke the same strength and will to win.
