A View to a Kill - REVIEW

Film of the Day #238/ 300

In 1985, at the age of 57, Roger Moore made his seventh and final appearance as James Bond, in the fourteenth 007 movie. Released to mixed reviews, A View to a Kill is an indifferent film that struggles to match the grittier, cutting edge action movies of the late eighties. However, A View to a Kill does boast a terrific performance from Christopher Walken, as the psychotic megalomaniac Max Zorin. Supported by a strong cast including Grace Jones and Patrick Macnee, A View to a Kill features some great moments and an excellent soundtrack, yet the film has aged as well as Moore himself.
