Iconic and innovative; James Bond’s cinematic debut, Dr. No, is the closest on screen incarnation of Ian Fleming’s famous spy.  Directed in 1962 by filmmaker Terence Young and starring the unique talent of an unknown Sean Connery, Dr. No is a stylised and sophisticated movie that reconstructed and modernised the cinematic blockbuster and developed a winning formula for the 007 franchise.
